Sanbuntei is a Japanese restaurant on the 3rd floor of Tokyo Midtown Hibiya that focuses specifically on traditional Kyoto cuisine.
The impression of the shop I visited at lunch time was,
・Inside the restaurant, the tables are close to each other, giving the impression of being a bit cramped, but the atmosphere is cozy and calm in Japanese style.
・It doesn't look noisy for a lunch time, and the lighting is not too bright to create a relaxing and intimate ambiance.
・The table is made of a single plate, and uses Kintsugi tableware to create an elegant atmosphere.
Sanbuntei's menu offers a wide range of Japanese dishes, from typical Japanese dishes such as sashimi, tempura, and grilled fish, to Kyoto-style obanzai (Kyoto-style vegetable dishes), yudofu (boiled tofu), and kaiseki cuisine.
Also, it seems to be one of the selling points that many ingredients are procured directly from Kyoto.
